Surf Camp Corralejo - A typical day with us at Quiksilver Surf School

When looking for a surf camp in Corralejo you will be find that you are rather spoilt for choice, and while we could go into a whole speel about how we are one of the oldest surf camps in Corralejo, or that we have the best instructors on the island. But hey, we thought it would be best to just open the book and show you a typical day inside our surf camp here in Corralejo.

7.30/8.00am - Rise and shine! If your surfing in the morning course its time to get up, pack a day bag, perhaps stop by Cacho Pan for a 1 euro coffee and meet us at our surf camp office in Corralejo.

9:00am - Be fitted with your wetsuit, board, meet your surf instructor for the day and load into one of the 4x4 Quiksilver Jeeps and head off to the beach.

9.30am- Depending on the conditions that day will depend on which beach you head to. We are very lucky here in Fuerteventura that we have access to so many different surfing spots which means no matter the weather conditions we should be able to find suitable waves for your level.

10.00 - After a theory lesson on the current ocean conditions, and surfing techniques you will be taken through a warm up focused on the muscles used for surfing and by 10,30am you should be in the ocean - Boo-ya!

10.00-12.30pm - Depending on which level surf camp you are attending, the conditions that day and the instructor will depend on how the practical part of the lesson takes place, but what I can say is that you will be surfing and on one day of your surf course you will have a photographer join you so you can see your surfing stance first hand and have a couple on memoir to take home with you and show your friends and family. 12.30-1.00pm - Pack the boards back on the truck, group pictures and we are off! Back to the office with a couple of sweet surfer tunes to keep everyone in good spirits.

1.00-8.00pm - You have the rest of the day to yourself to explore the rest of the island or simply lay back and relax - enjoy your holiday!

8.00 - late - On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have Yoga class run from the gorgeous Erika who will take you through a beautiful Ashtanga yoga routines held at one of our surf camps in Corralejo - Casa Marco, Wednesdays all the surf camp is invited to dinner with the staff and we have a Mexican feast at the local Boardriders Restaurant, and on Fridays it's Burgers and Beers at Citrus, which is conveniently located right in the heart of Corralejo where the best night life on the island is - Check out more about the night life in Corralejo here
